It is sad that we have to announce the passing of Malcolm Macpherson who was elected a Life Member 2006
- Captain 1989-1992, President 1993-2002, Secretary/Treasurer 2005, Secretary 2006-07
- Joined District 1983 Member Commonwealth
Malcolm was also heavily involved with the VVGA (and was also a Life Member of the VVGA) being Captain 1988-92, Secretary 1991-2014, Treasurer 2015-16 and also spending 11 years as Secretary/Treasurer of the Australian Veteran Golfers Union.
Malcolm was an untiring administrator who believed in senior golfers participation in the sport of golf.
He held a senior position in sales with Shell and recounts his fond memories of his time when in South Australia of playing golf with Sir Donald Bradman at Kooyonga & Royal Adelaide.
